November 07 was the night of all the African Americans, all the beautiful, smart, strong, talented and super sexy black women gathered to celebrate the power and influence of black women in the society. The televised event kind was known as Black Girls Rocks and it was brought to us by Black Entertainment Television.
Ruby Dee, American actress, poet, playwright, screenwriter,journalist, activist and one of the most iconic woman of America. She was tribute with the Living Legend Award and was introduced by the exquisite Lynn Whitfield, and said, “Ruby Dee represents everything BLACK GIRLS ROCK stands for.”
DJ Beverly Bond, the founder of Black Girls Rock organization said that the black women of America where not being told or reminded of how amazing they where or how amazing they can really be but the event urges them to shout out loud that “Black Girls Rock.
